I am currently working as an Interaction Designer & Development Line Lead at Nationwide. In this role I identify ways to improve the user experience of Nationwide's personal lines self-servicing websites. I create UX deliverables such as wireframes and prototypes, and provide UX support and reviews to developers as they build out the improved experiences.
Prior to working for Nationwide, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ohio University in May 2020. I studied Visual Communication: Information Design - Interactive Multimedia and got a minor in Marketing.
I was a Web & UX Designer for Ohio University's Division of Student Affairs Communication & Marketing team. I also interned at Viasat in 2019 as their User Experience Visual Design Intern. Before that, I worked at McGraw-Hill Education as their Marketing Design Intern. I was the Graphic Designer for Ohio University's Office of Global Opportunities from 2017 – 2018.
I was involved in many organizations at Ohio University. I was the President of the Ohio University Multimedia Society (OUMS), Vice President of Project C, and I designed for Thread Fashion Magazine. OUMS is a professional networking student organization that focuses on career readiness and providing networking opportunities to students interested in multimedia. Project C is a student organization that creates multimedia work for local nonprofits.
I strive to challenge myself to try new things and develop my skills as I grow as a designer.
